Accessing funded training for care providers

	Buckinghamshire County Council Bucks CC has funding to provide access to free of charge training. A rolling programme of events is organised throughout the year on topics identified to the social care training unit as being difficult to access by care staff due to both cost and venue restrictions.   Some funding is also available to support organisations with the cost of mandatory training such as first aid, moving & handling, basic food hygiene, and fire safety, medication and risk assessment.    For more information contact Laura Maddison on 01296 382205 or email lmaddison@buckscc.gov.uk   Bucks CC can also give you information about the £75.00 per unit funding Skills for Care has available for individual NVQ care units (including induction). Contact Jenna Casey email: jcasey@buckscc.gov.uk for further details.
